A Smart Solution for Urban Living
This Kelowna HO3 project highlights the potential of accessory dwelling units (ADUs) to add value to urban properties. Located in the backyard of a family home, this unit was designed to add revenue generating potential. Candace and Devon chose a Honomobo for its quick, energy-efficient construction and minimal disruption to their property. The modular nature of the home, placed on screw piles, also provides future flexibility, allowing for relocation or repositioning should they redevelop their land.
Designing for Privacy and Comfort
he placement of the HO2 was carefully chosen to preserve a beautiful mature tree, a natural focal point for the backyard. The design prioritizes privacy, ensuring the ADU feels like a separate retreat while maintaining harmony with the rest of the property. Large windows frame the courtyard, offering a private and tranquil space within the otherwise bustling urban environment.
