About Honomobo

Honomobo builds modern modular homes using steel-frame construction and precision off-site fabrication. Our homes are designed for efficiency, beauty, and long-term durability. As a leader in modular innovation across North America, we are redefining how housing is built—and delivered. Every home we create is factory-crafted, then shipped and installed on-site with speed and excellence. If you're passionate about hands-on work and want to be part of a company that’s changing the future of homebuilding, we want to meet you.

The Role

As an Installation Team Member, you’ll be responsible for the on-site assembly and finishing of Honomobo’s prefabricated modular homes. You’ll work with cranes, steel modules, sealants, flashing, and a wide range of building materials. From aligning and bolting modules to installing finishes, flashing, flooring, and fixtures, your work will directly impact the final quality and customer satisfaction of each project.

This is a hands-on, site-based role ideal for individuals with construction experience, mechanical aptitude, and a high attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare the foundation for home installation, including flashing and gasket work
  • Coordinate with transport and crane operators to safely receive and place modules
  • Align, level, and bolt modules together, ensuring plumb and flush installation
  • Weld modules to foundations per local structural and seismic requirements
  • Complete exterior sealing, flashing, fascia, roofing membrane, and eavestrough installation
  • Connect electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems between modules (MEP coordination)
  • Install interior finishes: flooring, trim, cabinetry, appliances, fixtures, and bathroom hardware
  • Conduct site clean-up, final walk-throughs, and punch-list corrections
  • Document deficiencies and support the handover to homeowners and Post-Install Support team

Who You Are

  • You have 3+ years of hands-on experience in construction, framing, prefab, or installation
  • You’re mechanically inclined and confident using power tools, fasteners, and lifting equipment
  • You have experience working around cranes, transport equipment, or modular units (preferred)
  • You’re detail-oriented and committed to high-quality craftsmanship
  • You can travel regionally and work on-site for 1–5 days per project
  • You’re safety-minded and physically capable of lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods
  • You work well independently and in small crews under tight deadlines

Bonus Skills

  • Welding experience (ticketed or non-ticketed)
  • Forklift or crane rigging certification
  • Familiarity with steel framing or modular construction
  • Drywall, flooring, cabinetry, or MEP installation experience

Why Honomobo?

  • Be part of a growing company revolutionizing residential construction
  • Competitive pay based on experience and performance
  • Full benefits package (health, dental, life insurance)
  • Opportunities for advancement into Crew Lead or Installation Supervisor roles
  • Work on innovative, design-forward homes across North America
