Our team will work with you through the process from our initial feasibility consultation through to handing you the keys to your new Honomobo every step of the way. Modular Construction

  

Step 1 – Feasibility Assessment (2-3 weeks)

Option 1: No Site Visit

Based on access information and overhead crane clearance confirmed by the Customer, Honomobo will review site feasibility and provide you with the following:

  • Phone Consultation with Honomobo Expert

  • Zoning Verification 

  • Upgrade Option Pricing 

  • Budgetary Estimate

  • Cost is $495

 

Option 2: Site Visit

Honomobo will review site feasibility and provide you with the following: 

  • Phone Consultation with Honomobo Expert

  • Site visit by a Honomobo Rep and/or Crane operator to determine accessibility and overhead crane clearance

  • Zoning Verification 

  • Upgrade Option Pricing 

  • Budgetary Estimate

  • Cost is $1,000+, Quoted per project

 

Step 2 – Design and Engineering (6-8 weeks)

Option 1: Permit Drawings and Basic Foundation Engineering

Honomobo will provide architectural drawings and basic foundation engineering that can be submitted for local permit approvals.

  • Architectural Drawing Set $4,750

  • Basic Foundation Engineering $2,500+

 

Option 2: Custom Permit Drawing and Custom Foundation Engineering

Honomobo will provide a custom design and custom foundation engineering that can be submitted for local permit approvals.

  • Design Brief and Proposal

  • Concept Design

  • Architectural Drawing Set

  • Custom Foundation Engineering

  • Price is quoted per project

 

Step 3 – 5% Reservation Deposit

 Hold your price for 6 months and confirm a production spot

  • 5% Reservation deposit of home sale price required to secure a production spot, price and delivery of your Honomobo for 6 months

  • Additional 35% due 75 days prior to production spot to confirm manufacture date

  • If you miss the deadline you will be bumped to the next available production spot  

  • Refundable if permit is denied (10% processing fee)

 

Step 4 - Permit Submission (Time Varies)

 Permit documents are submitted to the local municipality for approval

 

Step 5 – Construction Deposit – 40% Payment to Honomobo

  • Locks in next available production spot

  • Site construction usually starts at this time

  • 10-12 week build time once manufacturing begins

Step 6 – Production (10-12 Weeks)

  • Fabrication of your Honomobo begins

  • Pictures and updates are sent at each stage of the build

  • Completion date is updated

Step 7 -Factory Construction Complete – 50% Payment to Honomobo

  • Required prior to shipping of Honomobo

  • Site visit by Honomobo Manager to ensure access and foundation requirements are met – Price quoted at time of design and engineering

  • Crane, Onsite installation and shipping rates are re-quoted and confirmed 30 days prior to schedule shipping date

Step 8 - Installation – Final 10% (held in trust) (4-6 weeks including site work/occupancy)  

  • Honomobo is sent by truck to your property

  • Honomobo approved installation contractor to perform installation on foundation

  • Final utility connections are completed by on-site contractor 

  • Landings, decks and landscaping are completed by on-site contractor.

  • Final walkthrough and sign-off with client
